Materials

While travelling in urban areas I am always drawn to the worn materials in the back alleys and winding streets. With my main subject matter consisting of old doors, windows, signs and sections of houses. I love focusing on the contrasting shapes, lines, textures and colours that makeup these photographs.

Street Art

During my travels I also love to photograph street art. While in Malaysia I discovered a new variation of street art that I had never seen before, I called it 'interactive street art.' I gave this urban art form this title because a person is actively able to become part of the street art. The image below shows a boy (painted) on a motorbike (real), yet anyone can sit on this motorbike allowing the art piece to come alive. This is a short series that documents interactive street art in Malaysia.
