During my travels I was able to visit some of the most famous and recognisable cities in the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. I wanted to capture these urban environments in a creative, abstract and unique way providing new perspectives to these heavily documented locations. Within this series I also wanted to document the locals in their ever changing urban environment.

Brutalism Reimagined
This project focuses on Brutalist architecture in 2 cities in England; London and Southampton. My aim was to portray Brutalist architecture in a way never seen before by using double exposures to further exaggerate the abstract shapes, lines and textures. Many people overlook these concrete blocks however by creating double exposures it instantly makes these structures intriguing to the viewer and draws you in. I experimented with different buildings and in the end choose three; Trellick Tower, London. The National Theatre, London and Wyndham Court, Southampton. I produced six final images with two from each building. The two images of each building focus on two different perspectives, the outside perspective which is what you see from the street showing the exterior and then the inside perspective which shows the interior of the building.
